Eleven Northeastern University students joined CNA on October 3 to care for Wellington Common’s Rose Garden and the Southwest Corridor Park. Thank you to the students, CNA, and everyone who helped our neighborhood green spaces.

Congratulations to Franco Campanello, the South End’s first-place Pollinator Garden winner in Boston’s 2026 Mayor’s Garden Contest and recipient of a Golden Trowel award.

On June 15, board members and volunteers spent the day rolling out fresh sod at the Round Window Garden — by evening, bare dirt had given way to green lawn, with new fencing up to protect it while it takes root.

Neighbors turned out in force for our May 9 plant sale at Durham Grass — browsing tables of herbs, annuals, and perennials while volunteers kept the energy high, rain or shine.
